(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 1810tz Aspire, also an 11.6 inch notebook.
I wanted a neoprene case that would meet the airline requirements to leave the computer inside at security checks... no zipper, no extra pocket. This case does so, and the size was hard to find, most were too large. It is well made, I've been using it for a month, multiple times a week, and it is working well. There seems to be a bit of extra space length and width, but if it were a tighter fit it would be harder to use.
The neoprene is covered with a knit fabric, which makes sliding the computer in and out a smooth action. I am well satisfied and would recommend this brand to friends.
