(More customer reviews)I've had this case for some time. The leather can take a beating and protect the netbook well. However, there are two flaws keeping this from getting 5 stars.
1.) The stitching. The stitching left small, stitch sized pressure marks on my screen. I had to add small pads to the 4 corners to raise my screen to prevent further markings.
2.) The backing does indeed scratch the shiny black surface of my netbook. Felt would have been a better alternative than the pattern backing they chose.
Another gripe is the metalic strap. It would have been nicer if it could be pushed into the case and pulled out when needed. I've elected to fold it under and tuck it into the back of the case to keep it out of the way, but the strap is starting to show a crease from doing so.
