(More customer reviews)I purchased this skin for my Asus 1005PE and I'm quite pleased. The material is just stretchy enough to create a very nice smooth fit around the computer corners. This computer has a very glossy surface that every reviewer has commented on as a magnet for dust and finger prints.

This set comes with an attractive design with just enough art in my opinion. I know this is a matter of taste but many skins cram so much detail onto a netbook cover that they look overly busy. IMHO. This design places just enough color on a black background to lighten the overall impression but since it is a single design it works. I work in a professional level office where a computer looking like punk rock wouldn't convey a responsible impression. At the same time I wanted some sort of scratch protection. I have had many comments that this that this is very handsome.

This set comes with a print that covers the keyboard deck and the mouse area. I was worried that I wouldn't get a good read through the skin in the mouse area, but it actually improves the feel of the stippled Asus fingerpad. This skin fits with such fidelity that every tiny stipple in this area can still be seen and felt. One caution, I removed the stickers from the keyboard deck, but there was still a tiny bit of adhesive under one of the more intractable adds. I thought, "what the heck you can barely see it" and placed this skin over it. This skin fits so smoothly that you can easily see where this sticker had been.

Finally, my original system developed a mobo problem and needed to be exchanged. I managed to very carefully peal this off and move to my replacement. I don't recommend this but it worked and has been serving several months now.
