(More customer reviews)While this is a very nice laptop sleeve, it is in fact too big for a 17" laptop. There is at least 1.5" extra space on both the top and the side, so the laptop may slide around inside the sleeve. This also makes the bag too big to fit inside the average bookbag. It does still offer nice cushion and protection, but make sure you check the exact measurements before ordering.
